Moana Pool redevelopment update

The leisure pool will be laned up similar to the learners pool to provide allocated teaching spaces. Weekday pilot level swimmers who swim the length of the learners pool will be swimming in the shallow end of the main pool with platforms.

Note the swim teacher on your booking confirmation. When you arrive for your first lesson of our April block course or Term 2 lessons, there will be a map outlining where your swim teacher will be. Please note, the learners pool will still show as your lesson location. Learners pool = leisure pool.

Leisure pool space will be limited or unavailable at certain times. Further information will be available closer to the time. Public fun will run in the shallow end of the main pool whenever possible.

All adult lessons, including Just Swim for Confidence, will all run in the shallow end of the main pool.

The fishbowl office by the learners pool will be closed while this work is completed. Just Swim admin will be available at Moana Pool reception during the day and in the main Just Swim office located by the main pool for our after school and Saturday lessons. Please see our team if you have any questions or to make booking changes.

Male and female toilets are available, along the main pool and unisex toilets, through the automated doors by the old dive pool.

Showers will only be available in the male and female change. The dry change rooms do not have showers.

Yes there are two new accessible change rooms available through the automated doors by the old dive pool. No access key required.

Free assessments will continue to run as normal but in the leisure pool or shallow end of the main pool if older swimmers. Customers will meet our Head Teacher at the main Just Swim office by the old dive pool.

Yes the lift is available during this time.

The female change has a baby change area available. Both accessible change rooms (through the automated doors by the old dive pool) have change tables.

Yes there will be space available by the leisure pool for prams and the lift is still available during this time.

There will be limited space around the swim school lessons. At times it may be unavailable. Public fun will run in the shallow end of the main pool whenever possible.

The leisure pool is 32 degrees which is the same temperature as the learners pool.

While the family change rooms are closed you can use the female and male change rooms downstairs, along with the six dry change rooms and the accessible change rooms located beside the Just Swim office (by the old dive pool).

If due to unforeseen circumstances the leisure pool has to close while lessons are being held, Just Swim lessons effected will be cancelled and a credit placed on your account. Scheduled classes will resume when the Leisure pool is able to open.
